What do you charge per sq ft?

We do not price houses this way. Every home has a different size, shape, and building site, so square foot pricing is not very accurate. However, the first conversation we have with our clients is about budget. We also want to learn about the features our clients really want in their new home. Then we can help guide the design process so you get the house you want within budget.


Do you have stock plans you can send us?

No. Every house we build is unique. We have built dozens of homes, but never the same one twice.


Do we need an architect for our plans?

This is up to you and your budget. We recommend having a conversation so you can tell us about your vision. Then we can make a recommendation on how you might proceed.


How long does it take to build a house?

Each project is different, however, on average it takes about 5-6 months once site work starts. (COVID-19 pandemic may effect this estimate.)


How does financing work?

Most clients choose a lender that offers a construction-perm loan program. We can offer suggestions on a few lenders. Once financing is in place, we receive payment based on the progress of construction directly from the lender.


I don't have a lot yet, can you help me find one?

Yes. Joel is a licensed Realtor with Jefferson Land & Realty in Madison, Virginia, and can help find property in any budget. It's great if you already have your own Realtor, however we strongly encourage you to have your builder be part of the land purchase process especially before any offers are made.
